MyPads provide a sustainable solution for your menstrual and incontinence needs.

Our Australian-made washable, reusable cloth pads and Lunette silicone menstrual cups (made in Finland!) free you from the cycle of cost and waste around the use of disposable pads and tampons.

We enjoy providing personalised product advice and enjoy hearing from you so please feel free to email or phone us.

Our MyPads vision is to help people care for themselves and the planet by choosing reusable products that:

  • reduce consumption of resources
  • reduce waste and
  • are kinder to our health and the health of the planet

A natural approach…

At MyPads we advocate a natural approach to personal care around menstruation and incontinence and avoid plastics and synthetics where possible. The binding on our pads is nylon to ensure the pads are durable over many years, but the main fabric worn against your body is soft and natural – cotton or hemp fleece. Our ManPads include a nylon taffeta layer for some extra water-proofing.

We use non-toxic, biodegradable and environmentally-friendly materials, products and packaging as well as sustainable work practices wherever possible.

At MyPads we seek to support and conduct business with individuals, communities and organisations that actively seek to promote the principles of care for people and care for the earth.

A little bit of herstory: It all started with RadPads, established in Victoria in 1993

RadPads cloth menstrual pads was first established in 1993 out of a concern for women’s health and economy and the impact of disposable sanitary products on the environment.

It was through the great work of founding owner Rachael Gregg and innovative product development and promotion by Jane Bennett, then Wendy Dumaresq, that RadPads developed a strong reputation for quality, comfort, reliability and economy. Have a look at what Jane and Wendy are up to these days by clicking on the links for their names.

Alison Worthington, the current owner since July 2016, brings to RadPads a wealth of experience in sustainable living as well as a passion for womens health,  environmental and social justice.

Testimonials

Kellie B. wrote of RadPads:

For the past few years I have used only organic disposable pads, but went looking for an alternative when these also were causing me irritation. Admittedly, at first I was a bit sceptical but after using RadPads for 4 of the last 5 months I am so surprised and relieved at how wonderful they are. Here are some of the benefits I have experienced:

  • Easy to clean
  • Very comfortable to wear
  • Not bulky or crackly like plastic, they breathe and don’t make you hot
  • They are more absorbent than any disposable
  • Virtually no leaking, the pad absorbs the fluid where it is rather than running or overflowing
  • You can check how many layers fluid has gone through to judge if you need to change
  • No irritated skin
  • No smell.
